Ger joined HAL Fund Services in May 2023 as Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining HALFI Ger was a Client Global COO in the Global Client Division at State Street from 2018 to 2022. As GCOO, Ger was responsible for the operations of strategically important global clients at State Street. The role involved leading projects across multiple business lines globally to ensure successful project execution, resource allocation, successful onboarding of new business, prioritizing technology development and issue resolution to ensure high client satisfaction levels.
Ger was a Managing Director of Fund Accounting and Head of Fund of Funds (EMEA) at International Fund Services from 2010 to 2018. Ger led multiple client service teams in delivering services to a large suite of multi-billion dollar clients across a range of strategies from Fund of Funds to Multi-Strategy Single Manager Hedge Funds. Ger progressed from Manager and Director roles to the Managing Director role at International Fund Services.
Ger is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Ger graduated from the University of Ulster with a BA (Hons) in European Business Studies.
