When making your selection, we distinguish between “private clients” and “institutional investors.” By “institutional investors,” we mean clients who are classified as professional clients within the meaning of Section 67 (2) of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) or eligible counterparties within the meaning of Section 67 (4) WpHG and/or professional investors within the meaning of Section 1 (19) No. 32 of the German Investment Code (KAGB). We define “private clients” as clients who are classified as private clients within the meaning of Section 67 (3) of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) and/or semi-professional investors within the meaning of Section 1 (19) No. 33 of the German Investment Code (KAGB). As alternative investment funds, the sub-funds of Kapital 1852 SCS SICAV-SIF are subject to the Luxembourg law of July 12, 2013, on alternative investment fund managers. According to the German Investment Code (KAGB), limited partnership interests may only be subscribed to in Germany by semi-professional and professional investors.
