Our Cultural Foundation

As private bankers, we bear great responsibility for the wealth of our clients, but also for the present and future of our society. For this reason, cultural commitment has always been an important and integral part of our self-image as private bankers.

At home in the heart of Germany since 2008

Support for culture and arts

The Hauck & Aufhäuser Cultural Foundation, established in 2008, plays a key role in our commitment. It supports non-profit projects in the field of culture and arts. The funding decisions are made by a three-member foundation board.

The Hauck & Aufhäuser Kulturstiftung is an independent foundation based in Frankfurt am Main. For this reason, it will retain its established name until further notice, although it is of course a core part of the Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Group, as symbolized by its associated logo.

15 years of the Hauck & Aufhäuser Cultural Foundation

We have reason to celebrate! 15 years of the Hauck & Aufhäuser Cultural Foundation! That means 15 years of commitment to art and culture as well as to artistic education. This anniversary is a wonderful occasion to look back on past projects and review one or two highlights:

Project 2022:

PAINT-ALONG INVITATION FROM THE HAUCK & AUFHÄUSER CULTURAL FOUNDATION

Children like to be creative. With our MIT-MAL invitation, we asked the children in the Eifel region, which was severely affected by the floods in the summer of 2022, to draw their world for us. We would like to thank all the children for their entries and hope they had a lot of fun drawing! You can find the winning picture here.

And because the pictures also inspired us, we will continue to leave the MIT-MAL invitation on our website as an incentive for all children to be creative. Here you can find the MIT-MAL invitation and the sheet for the self-portrait. The Hauck & Aufhäuser Kulturstiftung wishes all children lots of fun being creative!

Stimulate - Try - Experience

A museum guide for young people

Contemporary art is a challenge for many people. It can sometimes be difficult to get an inside, as the art is not immediately clear for the viewer. Contemporary art is not an easy thing, which we can assess and consume with our usual habits. It requests dealing with the topic. Often with the result of more questions than answers and the viewer remains sometimes perplexed and wondering. That´s why we developed together with “DASMAXIMUM KunstGegenwart” a museum guide with “activity sheets” for children.

Our goal was to enable younger visitors in particular to explore the museum independently, thereby awakening and encouraging their artistic and cultural interest. With this in mind, we developed the activity sheets that children can take into the exhibition spaces and later home with them, helping them discover the artists and their works.
